"I am passionate about good children's literature. Recently, children's books have been brought down to the lowest common denominator so that boys, specifically, will want to read (even if it's trash writing and plot). I believe children's literature should inspire kids to more, encourage them with role models, and expand their view of the world. My son is a voracious reader and I literally cannot keep enough books on our shelves or in our library queue to satisfy him. At Story Finders, they ask intentional questions to find out what your kid wants to read and get input from parents. My son got his first box yesterday and was thrilled. He could not put the books down, and I had to eventually hide them so he could finish his homework! It's a great deal financially (I'm a deal finder!), and it takes one small thing off my busy plate. (And honestly it's such a good idea I'm mad I didn't come up with it first!)"
